All Trycon products are software-as-a-service tools (web and mobile applications) that are handcrafted in India and used by professionals and businesses across the globe. Over 2,000 businesses including Amazon, Cisco, Intel, HCL, Diageo, Samsung, Adobe, Hike Messenger, Aon Hewitt, Johnson & Johnson, Marriott, Hilton, and McDonald’s, from about 114 countries use Scanova products for promotional and operational use cases.

Since its inception, Trycon follows the ‘lean startup’ methodology and builds products iteratively to align with customer success. Each iteration follows a rigorous process of understanding customer requirements, problem-solving, specifying requirements, designing, software development, quality control, and customer success.

About the Role

For our products, we are looking for an entry-level SDET-I to strengthen our product teams.

The SDET-I will be required to work in an agile way of testing software(s) and websites for problems, documenting issue(s) and error(s), and intimating the team of developers.

To succeed in our fast-paced environment, the SDET-I should be a quick self-learner and should have strong analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities

The SDET-I will be responsible for:

• Understand test requirements, design test scenarios, and create test cases
• Conduct manual or tool-based (e.g., Cross-browser Testing, API testing) tests on Trycon’s existing or new web and mobile applications to identify issues
• Work with the development team to pinpoint issues in as much detail as possible
• Perform regression/sanity tests to validate issues resolved by developers

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• (Required) Graduation in B.Tech, B.E, BCA or B.Sc (preferably in CSE/IT) from a reputed institution with a minimum of 65% or 7 CGPA
• (Required) 1-2 years of prior experience in Quality Assurance
• (Required) Good command of any one of the programming languages: Java/ Python/ JavaScript
• (Required) Excellent command over the English language – written and spoken
• (Required) Practical knowledge of writing test cases and understanding of the requirements
• (Required) Practical knowledge of executing proper test cases to be carried out with bug management
• (Required) Self-motivating and problem-solving attitude
• (Required) Analytical and critical-thinking skills
• (Good-to-have) Hands-on experience with CRM software like JIRA
