What you’ll do:

At Lucidity, Front-end Engineers play a vital role in developing user interfaces and ensuring seamless interactions with cloud-based applications and services. Their responsibilities extend beyond creating visually appealing interfaces to integrating with cloud services and technologies.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with modern web technologies: JavaScript (ES Next), HTML5, CSS / Sass, and market-leading frameworks (React is a preference)
• Experience working in an Agile work environment and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in developing responsive applications with good architecture and UI.
• Having at least 2+ years of experience in contributing to architecture, design, and implementation of products.
• Skilled at writing unit, SLTs and E2E tests and testable components.
• Familiar with integration to CI &CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of the best coding practices and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of experience
• A desire to write clean yet simple programs using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Keen interest in creating web frameworks like Angular / React JS
• Exposure to Cloud environments – AWS / Azure / GCP
• Good understanding of working with API design and development
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to optimise the deployment and hosting of front-end applications in the cloud.

Bonus points

• Academic background in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with AWS and Cloud technologies
• Contribution to open-source development projects
• A self-starter and able to perform with minimal direction
