Position Overview
You will be part of a dynamic team at Autodesk Pune, India. We are looking for Engineers who love finding efficient, scalable and thoughtful solutions to a variety of technical and product challenges. As Software Engineer you will deliver top quality Web and Cloud software. You will report to Software Development Manager in a hybrid work mode. You will work from Pune location.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop high quality, secure, reusable, maintainable, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers,
- Work with Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and help refine functional requirements into high quality software components
- Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systems
- Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piece
- Design, analyse and document technical solutions, and sequence work to make fast, iterative deliveries and improvements
- Establish and uphold best engineering practices through code and design reviews
- Research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible incorporation into company products and methodologies
- Write and maintain the code following Test-Driven-Design principle
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- 2 or more years of experience with frontend development technologies, such as React, Vue, Redux, State Management or equivalent
- Experience into , JavaScript and TypeScript and must have a clear understanding of basic web fundamentals such as prototype-based inheritance, scopes, Event Loop, Memory Management in JS, etc.
- Should also have in-depth understanding of latest ES6 standards such as spread operators, arrow functions, etc.
- Write clean, efficient code, and be and debug any issues that may arise.
- Hands-on understanding of latest paradigms in Frontend Development such as Pub-Sub Pattern, State Management, Service Workers, Web Components, Client Caching, Lazy Loading, Dynamic Injection, Bundle Optimization, Reactive Design, Microfrontends, Module Federation
- Good exposure to writing UT’s and designing UI components with testability in mind.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in building progressive and hybrid mobile & web applications applications
- Hands-on experience of CSS3 & HTML5
- Hands-on to quick scripting in postman to test Rest API’s
- Hands-on experience with any one of Frontend automation framework like Cypress, Protractor, etc
